Hmmmm mixed feeling about this book. On one hand, Poppy was a good character, although I didn’t understand the point of her having a wig and glasses as a disguise. Ryan was your normal mean boss, nothing new. However the book just draggeddddd. It took 67 chapters for the main characters to kiss, I mean come on. And I’m the type of reader that likes a slow burning romance but this went overboard. I also found it weird that Poppy’s POV was in first person, but Ryan’s was in third. 90 chapters is too much and I’m surprised I finished this book. A saving grace is that there were some steamy scenes. A meh book.
